Background and education
I am a son of an army man. My mother has always been a housewife except for few times when she would teach in schools. I'm pursuing BA History Honors from St Stephens.Motivation to writeI just loved stories of all types. So I used to create them through my action figures when I was young and when I grew up, I started writing them. Writing was just the best way to bring my
stories to the world. Meaning of life and success
When it comes to life, I would say it is harsh and realistic and sometimes bad too. Success can be imaginary and far fetched. But for me, to serve the purpose of life, you need to achieve success. Success has a lot of definitions, but for me, success would be getting recognised by the public. Future plansTo write more novels and make movies. Schedule managementI procrastinate a lot and I write when I want to write. These are the perks of being a young writer.Message for youngsters and aspiring writersThere's always that one person in our life who would say "Yes, you can do it". Listen to that person because YOU CAN DO IT. I wouldn't have written a single piece of fiction if it wasn't for my parents. They kept motivating me. They knew that I had the potential to write. Second piece of advice I would give is learn from everything, every single thing that you see around, be it the crickets or leaves or the clouds or your juniors. Learn and savor it. You will need it in your novel. Deepali Porwal
